Meet Allison Yen, DDS, MS
Dr. Yen graduated in the top ten of her class at University of the Pacific. At Dugoni School of Dentistry, she was honored with many awards for academic achievement. After dental training, she completed three-years of postgraduate residency in periodontics in Chicago at University of Illinois. In the midst of intense residency, Dr. Yen earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in oral sciences, also conducting research in wound healing.
With a passion for patient comfort, Dr. Yen trained in administering oral conscious and intravenous sedation. To ensure comprehensive care with advanced techniques, she attends many continuing education classes. Her professional affiliations include American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and American Academy of Periodontology.
Meet Debra Stein, DMD, MMSc – Endodontist
Debra Stein, DMD, MMSc – Endodontist
Dr. Stein is a Los Angeles native who moved east to study at University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, she stayed in Philadelphia, completing general practice residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Her work included caring for medically compromised patients in clinical and operating room situations, and treating traumatic dentoalveolar injuries.
Postdoctoral training at Harvard University’s School of Dental Medicine provided a strong background in conventional and microsurgical endodontics. There, Dr. Stein earned a Master’s degree in medical science/oral biology. Her thesis, OroFacial Pain and Trigeminal Neuralgia, was featured by the Academy of Orofacial Pain at their annual conference. Dr. Stein remained in Boston for 11 years, practicing endodontics in a private practice. She also taught pre-doctoral and postdoctoral residents at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Stein maintains active membership in American Board of Endodontics, American Dental Association, and California Dental Society. Her spare time is filled with film, theatre, and art projects with her daughter.
