Every smile design begins with an analysis of the front two teeth. We want the ideal ratio of the front two teeth to be 77.5%. Obviously this is a guideline but it helps us to determine what size to make the teeth when we are changing size, shape and contours.
By using the OTS Blueprint, we are able to measure the front teeth and determine if they are too wide, short or long. As you can see from the example below, the gap can be predictably closed by making the front two teeth more narrow and moving them closer together. By analyzing these features prior to starting the case, there is no guess work involved in determining the outcome.

By using the information from the OTS Blueprint, we are able to transfer that information to the laboratory and place the patient in provisionals that will allow them to preview their new smile before the case is completed.
The final result is a dazzling new smile for the patient that she can be proud of showing off to her friends and family. Because of the analysis done before the case was started, there are no surprises as to whether or not the teeth will look short, long or awkward in the patients mouth.
